I have osteoarthritis in both knees and have struggled with my surgery to get the steroid injections I need to allow me to lead a full life. After seeing Mr. Latimer in July as a private patient for these injections he was kind enough to ask my surgery to refer me to him as an NHS patient for knee care. I saw him on 11/11/2022 for further injections as an NHS patient. On both occasions he listened to everything I had to say, was kind and informative. He instills total confidence while remaining "human" and approachable. I am so grateful to him for the way he has helped me enjoy my life fully for the last few months and taken away the worry about getting my injections.

After much discussion about the pros and cons of surgery on my little girl we decided to go for it. Prior to surgery my little had dislocated hips and was so very twisted from the waist downwards and in pain. After a long recovery (we knew about this) she is pain free and thriving. Thanks to the surgery and great follow up care at a more local hospital my little one is now able to move independently with the help of a walker, something we thought was way beyond her reach. Mr Latimer has given her freedom and enhanced her life so much. I can’t thank him enough.

I made the best ever decision to book an appointment with Mr M Latimer, as I have been really struggling with osteoarthritis in both hips and needed more help than I was being offered. It was like talking to a friend who knew exactly what I needed. Talked me through my options and I came away with his plan for my recovery. Amazing. I am so happy I went to see him.

I write to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to Mr Latimer. To have trust in medical practitioners is a great comfort and Mark is a practitioner who instils trust and belief with an experienced, practiced and professional manner. He is a great listener with an approach which is reassuring, realistic, kind and with great sense of humour. In his clinic or in surgery, without reservation, I trust this man implicitly. My grateful thanks and very best wishes. Kevin Townsley

I count myself extremely fortunate to have been treated for a hip replacement by Mr Latimer. He is a talented surgeon who showed me nothing but compassion & kindness. With a genuine concern for his patients, he is easy to talk to & with a real sense of humour, he puts you quickly at ease & instils confidence. He is an absolute credit to his calling. Keep up your brilliant work. I cannot thank you enough.
